Supporting Essential Motorway Safety Improvements Across the South West

Our low loaders have recently been supporting essential overnight works on motorways across the South West.

As part of a major programme of investment, ageing crash barriers are being replaced and upgraded to provide greater protection for motorists in the event of a road traffic accident. Our vehicles have been transporting the machinery and equipment required to complete these works safely and efficiently during overnight closures.

Working to the closure window

Overnight motorway works run to a strict timetable. The road is closed for a set window, and everything the contractors need has to be on site when the closure starts and cleared away before it ends. That leaves no room for late deliveries, which is where a dependable haulier earns its place.

Moving the machinery that does the work

Replacing crash barriers takes specialist plant and equipment. Our low loaders are built for exactly this kind of job: carrying heavy machinery safely, loading and unloading it efficiently, and getting it where it needs to be on time.

Safer roads for everyone

Crash barriers are one of the most important safety features on a motorway, and keeping them up to standard protects every driver who uses the road. We are proud to play a part in the programme by keeping the machinery moving.
